About Lorna
Lorna has been in the fashion industry since 2008 where she has gained a wide experience making clothes for women as well as and men and children.
Lorna has participated in many local fashion shows and has also been a contestant in various local and international fashion competitions such as:
- Redds Africa Fashion Design Awards [RAFDA] 2008
- Safari Fashion Runway Reality Show [2013]
- Africa Designers For Tomorrow [FA254] 2014
In 2016, she became a Mandela Washington Fellow participating in the Young African Leaders Initiative programme started by Former President Barrack Obama.
Lorna also participated in an incubator programme, the Mitreeki project by She Trades. Here was a great space for Lorna to acquire additional skills, from the design process to business to marketing, all of which have the potential for steering her brand to international markets.
